Ok so with the mclaren hub out of action again... I was thinking about Paddock Hoe au, Where all of Landos partners are fighting each other to be the one Lando shares with over the weekend.

Lando is gathering the last of his belongings with the help of Jon when his phone starts to buzz. The noise of it against the dresser makes Lando wince because it was way too early to be awake. His morning coffee had yet to kick in, and he had been woken up the team panicking about what to do about their Hub for the weekend. Lando didn't really see why he needed to be on the calls. It had also been annoying to hide the fact that he and Oscar were in the same room, and not two seperate identical rooms as the team thought. It had been Oscar's night, which was rare because this thing between them was still new. The other was still trying to find a way to balance the whole sleeping with his teammate who was sleeping with most of the grid, and they were taking it slow. Still, as his phone continued to try kill itself by buzzing to death, Lando was clinging to the annoyance that was an interupted morning because he had some plans on how to wake Oscar up that had never happened. "Would you just check it already?", Jon laughed as he shook his head, tossing Lando his phone as Lando sighed. Notifications filled his lockscreen. All from Whatsapp and Lando already had an idea of what chat was suddenly blowing up his phone before he even unlocked it and he was right. There was dozens of messages in the chat he had with his boys. All of them bickering and arguing while Lando just snorted and wondered why they were all so awake at nine am when he knew most of them slept in on media days. It seemed, as he scrolled through the messages, that the news of the McLaren hubs demise had spread rather quickly this morning and was the reason for all the messages. Lando couldn't help but laugh as he flicked through them. It had started out simple with George bringing it up and offering to once more host some of the staff and Lando at Mercedes with Lewis quickly backing him. Charles had chimed in next, saying Mercedes could host the team and that Charles would take Lando since "he was cozy here last time" which seemed to spark the current argument about where Lando was going to be setting up for the weekend between sessions. Daniel and Max were arguing that the Mercedes duo and Charles weren't allowed to offer Lando safety this time because they had already split the time with him in Spain. The others were agreeing with them, but each of them was then arguing that anyone that Lando had plans with over the weekend should be ruled out too which had Max arguing back because everyone knew Lando was traveling back with Max on Sunday. It was pure chaos, just message after message of bickering that made a warmth bloom in Lando's chest. It was always reassuring to see how much they cared about him. He knew they did. They had all made it so clear from the start of each relationship that they cared for him, but sometimes doubts crept in along with the words that he been burnt into his brain by Zak before he had been removed from the paddock. Sometimes Lando worried that they were all just here because of what he could give them, that they stayed because Lando was easy but things like this, along with all the sweet and caring things each of them did for him, reminded Lando that he was loved. "So, why is your phone trying to off itself?", Jon asked after a momet, hauling Lando's bag over his shoulder. "Just the news about the Hub spread. Apparently everyone is fighting over where I'm going to be between sessions", Lando laughed, typing out a quick reply that consisted only of four red love hearts before he sent it to the group and got up. "Who's winning?", Jon laughed as Lando grabbed his jacket and grinned at him. "No idea mate. Maybe by the time we get to the paddock they'll have a winner"

recently i stumbled upon an old interview with alex turner and miles kane from 2016 festival i went to and i need to share because it’s v important:

His arms tight around Lando, and breath warm on his ears leaving Lando with an embarrassing flush on his cheeks and the tips of his ears as they separated. The moment quickly being interrupted by Charles dumping the last of his champagne over Lando’s head with laughter that made Lando’s stomach flutter as he blinked champagne off his lashes with a smile.
